Most people don't give a lot of thought about what sexual lubricant they use. Funny, 'cause it's actually an important part of sexual contact. Lube can make sex feel amazing. You can have intercourse longer without getting sore, and when you play with your partner, she'll like it a lot better if you use a little lube. Also if your girl has trouble reaching orgasm, a little more slipperiness can work absolute wonders. Pour some lube on your fingers, some more on her clitoris, and rub gently in small circles and figure eights. She'll love it. Now we can go in a bit more detail in to using lubricants.

Using the lubricants
A little extra lube is a must if you and your partner use sex toys - otherwise tearing of her tissues can occur. Besides, it makes everything slip in and out more readily - which equals more fun. Also if you are endowed and your wife or girlfriend has discomfort when you first enter her, using the right lubricant can eradicate the discomfort and make you slip right in. Of course, you can't beat a good slippery lube for masturbation. The extra sensitivity from a liquid lubricant can really add to your pleasure, and keep you from getting sore.
You can almost never use too much of the slippery stuff, unless you are using a very thick one, which does not usually lead to as much heightened sensation as more liquid lubricants. On the other hand, a thicker lube will not dry out as quickly as a thinner one. But if sensation is important to you, it's worth using the thinner one and reapplying more often. Believe it or not, there is a lot of variety in sexual lubricants. Some are thick, some thin. Some are water proof (these are impossible to wash off your tub!) and some are flavoured. Some have spermicides, some are hypoallergenic. Also you might consider container. Some come in tubes, and some in bottles. Some bottles have grips and easy to open caps, which can be pretty handy when you want to use some more and your hands are covered with lube!
It's a good idea to go to the sex store by where you live, or go to an online sex store and really read up. You might find one or two that really sound good to you. You can usually find a few brands of personal lubricant near the feminine hygiene products in the drug store. Using a lubricant can also keep you safe - if you don't use lubricant with condoms, it can cause them to break. Also, choosing an oil-based lubricant can cause condoms to deteriorate and break.
Some lubricants come with a spermicide (nonoxynol 9) that can also help kill the AIDS virus. Most lubricated condoms have this chemical on them. A little in your mouth won't kill you, but it tastes awful and can leave your tongue numb, so best not to use them before you receive oral. The right choice in sexual lubricant can really help add to your pleasure, and it can make everything a little easier.
